"I have used state farm for a couple years. Was not 100 percent happy with they way they dealt with a claim I had not long after I started policy, I had unfortunately hit an animal that started in front of me but was manageable. However what got this one star was how they handled my policy when I cancelled it after 3 years when they tried to double my premium for no reason. My renewal came up and my premium went from 200 a month to 330 a month. The renewal was on 8/27 I paid it so my insurance doesn't lapse and started shopping progressive quoted me for 190 a month, mind you this is full coverage on 2 vehicles with no deductibles, so I started that policy and cancelled state farm on 8/31. So the policy was technically active 4 days at best of a new policy. The refund of my unused premium was $99.67. (of my $330.00 payment) so I called and asked where the rest of my money. They'll proceed to blame it on state charges and fees that they can't tell me the amount of and then proceed to tell me that I was a month behind on my premium, mind you it's a new policy very first payment had just completed my previous policy paid in full lol. No way for me to be a month behind not to mention I was never more than 1 or 2 days late on a payment had I been a month late thwy would have cancelled my policy. I will be contacting the state insurance commission. Doesn't seem like they are being trustworthy company."

"It was late, and all the bars had closed. A hush fell over the streets, a heavy silence that not even the chill breeze could move. I don't remember what it was, only that it kept calling itself the "quote wizard" in its eerie, almost human voice. It was fast. Faster than the eye could see. Before I knew it, I was running. The creature was relentless in its pursuit. A sharp pain in my heel told me that it's metallic claws, which lashed wildly before it, had found purchase in my foot. I fell, hard. My vision blurred, and the creature offered up a profane incantation to its master, who was apparently named "Floh". I did the only thing I could: I spoke the words. The words scraped past my lips with effort, but I was able to finish the incantation: Like a good neighbor, State farm is there. The monster froze. For a moment we waited there, no more than a heartbeat or two. Then she appeared. She wore red polo and khakis, the only medal to decorate this warrior a nondescript name tag reading "Connie". She spoke in an Eldritch tongue, more felt than heard, and she and the beast disappeared in the gathering mist. When it lifted, they were gone, and my vehicles coverage shimmered with a faint golden light. I knew I was safe. I know what I saw. She was there. State farm was there."
